First time mustang owner. I'll keep this short. I was in a parking garage today and caught the left front "wheel sill" of my 2006 V6 Pony Package Mustang on a concrete pillar. There are scratches down to the metal, past the primer. From some basic google searches, it seems as if I am gonna pay around $500 best case scenario. I cannot get to a shop until later this week.
I was wondering if y'all could give me any advice about 1) how bad it is and 2) a rough estimate if possible if you've had some experience with auto body work. I will say the damage is localized to the wheel sill and does not extend over the curved part of the fender. Pictures linked below.
