Hi ya'll,:wavey

I have an '02 mustang that doesn't want to cooperate. The driver side window stays down; the passenger side works fine and all the other electrical is ok, I have checked the fuses all seemed to be ok. I am afraid to take into a mechanic only to tell that it was something simple that I could have fixed myself.

The switch does make a noise when pressed to roll down, but no sound when pressed to roll up.

Does anybody have any ideas before I have to spend a couple hundred dollars to replace a motor.

window regulator

mine did that too. when u press the button and it seems like the motor is trying to push the window up that means the window motor is fine and that the window regulator slipped off the track. .just take the door panle off and put ur hand inside the door and feel and see if the window regulator moves side to side? if it foes it means the little piece of plastic that ford used to hold the window regulator in place broke off.
