My drivers seat is in permanent Low Rider position! It will recline back further, but won't tilt forward enough.

I'm tired of rollin' like Vanilla Ice!

Has anyone repaired or replaced the reclining mechanism? What year models share the same seats as the 1985?

The interior is in pretty good shape, and the drivers seat is fine except for the recline position, so I'm hoping not to have to replace the seats just yet.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

You keep rollin' like Ice and you'll have to get those 4 lines shaved into your sideburns... :hihi:

You might need to take it to an interior shop, they deal with seats and might be able to do something about it, it's just the mechanism inside it that needs attention.

I know when mine did that was because the metal parts in th black box on the side of the seat were starting to rust due to water getting into the car get some WD40 oil not spray and put a few drops in there and see if that frees it up ...worked for me.
