Any Ideas,we have a 2.3 Mustang that we run on a circle Track,we had the motor redone on the bottom end, then we took it out again didn't make one lap and dropped oil pressure,we run a stock oil pump,if the car is idling it runs about 40# oil pressure when the motor hits about 190 the oil pressure drops to around 25#.We have put almost 1400.00 re-doing this motor and it is still not able to run any ideas.

Since you mentioned you had the bottom end checked out I was thinking about my upper.. and I have stock heads and the 1 or more of the valve seals are shot and this always screws with my oil pressure(because im burning it off).. Im not sure if this may be your problem but im sure it would be something to think about and im sure someone more experienced than me will come around with some help !:)

did you take care of the oil pump? being sure not to crack the pickup tube? have you dropped the oil pan again to check? also if it was the seals (depending on how bad they are) they would/should only burn oil on start up. :bigthumbsup
