What an amazing car!!!

THE CAR....
Went to a local dealership and this beautiful 427R caught me and my dads eye. Its bright red w/ flat black striping and decals. If you dont know the 427R its basically at stage 4+ Roush. lol Its got 435HP and 400 ft lb TQ, everything the Stage 3/ 427R has plus.... 6-Piston/ 14in Two Piece Slotted Front and Rear Disks w/ 2 separate sets of street and race oriented pads (Also has functionally 3in cooling ducts for brakes), Fully Adjustable Coil Overs in all four corners, Detroit Tru Trac Torsional Diff and Rear Axle vent, 3 gauge pod w/ Oil temp, Coolant temp, BOOST :happyhapp, and integrated shift light, Adjustable Carbon Fiber Functional Race Spoiler, I could go on and on but bacically its and 15,000 in Roush Performance parts added on top of everything the Stage 3 has to offer. :bigthumbsup

THE DRIVE....
Went drive up in the mountains near the dealership and this car is amazing!! Its soooo responsive in every way. I didnt push it but holy hell this thing is a beast! In a public mountain turn the driver will chicken out wayyyy before the cars near its limit, and those brakes always got youre back too.... you could slam on the brakes with no hands on the wheel and the thing would, for one, stay completely strait and perfectly balanced and two crack a rib or two in the process..... And the Roushcharged 4.6l 3v is fantastic..... how it pulls... how it sounds.... the torque..... its all sooooo perfect! :happyhapp O and to top it off... at one point we were speeding (but actually slowing down) coming off the secluded road into a little town when a cop got us going like 20 over but his only response was a slight smile and a nod :shigrin


I know what driving and mustang perfection is!!!
O and my dad just might buy the thing..... because theyll give him 20k off!
Im only 17 and this was a dream come true!!!!! O and if he does but it he said I can dive it for my last week of high school as a grad gift. lol could you imagen! :scratchchin .... showing up to the end of the year auto shop bbq in that thing! Some one pinch me because I must be dreaming :nogrinner

No how you feel. I drove the 5.4 cobra 525hp. The Roush couldn't hold a light to it. Especially when the Cobra is only $42,995.

The 0-60 is identical Trak Pak vs. GT500 and take those two to any race track and the GT500 wont be able to keep up. Even the dealers know its all motor with good enough brakes and not much else. While the Trak Pak has $30,000 in upgrades in all departments. Not to mention they only made 100 trak paks and the one were looking at is the same price. Im sorry but that little 3v 4.6 will take our big bad GT500. :so

Well I am a Roush fan but, that car is good but on a 1.8mi road course I was only 1.6s behind it in my V-6 automatic. So either I am the best driver to have ever lived or ehhh. Seriously though for a turn key car it is real fast I just have to wonder how fast I could have made it go.

The Roush Stage 3 will beat a GT500 in a road coarse (search Top Gear Roush vs GT500). The GT500 will be a Stage 3 in a straight line.

The 427 will destroy it everywhere!!! :happyhapp

Lol... Yeah, you're right! I don't know what I was thinking. The GT500s have gobs more power and will still beat the Roush in a straight line. Oh well!

and yes......the 427R's are.....fn....sweet alright and made for the road course. Will be giving mine a real test soon in some more HPDE's at Mid Ohio and Bluegrass. :bigthumbsup
