Stay away from soda blasting. Unless it is completely neutralized your new paint will fail.

Media (plastic) is the preferred method

It all depends on your local blaster bussiness, but I'd bet in general - soda blasting will be more widely used, therefore cheaper.

What's wrong with the ol' silica sand option? No moisture, no ph problems to be neutralized, and as affordable and common as it comes.

You can never get all the media out of the car.Mine for a year you hit a bump and see looked like dust coming out from under the dash.I say dry ice once it melts there's nothing to clean up.

dry ice

yea, sand blasting works, media and soda blasting have a few side effects but they're reliable/now I just heard about dry ice so I googled it and found a few youtube videos just showing a couple minutes,phenomenal...It impressed the best of me,maybe because I still love sanding things by hand. I mean it was just pulling the paint right off.WOW
