last week I installed a pair of GT take-off mufflers and had the local exhaust shop make a left-side midpipe. He initially installed everything as true duals, but once the car warmed up the exhaust tips shook a lot and there was a miss sound to the exhaust at idle. I had him install an H-pipe where the two pipes are closest and all is solved. Lower tone and no more shake. Lots of posts on this site that discuss various ideas. Wanted to share this simple solution with everyone. Still doesn't sound like a V-8 but big improvement.:bigthumbsup

glad it worked out.

Doesn't mean that it was the x- pipe that was causing the problem but maybe it was..... could have just needed an adjustment.

In the end, you've got the sound you're looking for.
