I believe I remember reading that they put down the same as the 05-10GT's. 265 or so.

When you're doing a mod, why not save your money and do it right the first time. I wouldn't put anything, made by BBK on any of my cars. If you're looking for the most you can get out of it, save your money and get a set of KOOKS long tube headers. When you purchase a mod, the whole idea is to get the ( best ) and get the most you can out of it for a gain. These days, you get exactly what you pay for so make it good, Mike.:bigthumbsup:bigthumbsup P.S. I've seen a stock one, put down exactly 259.25 RWHP. You can make that V-6 go, all it takes is the right parts. And I've been playing with Mustangs, and Fords for over forty years. I still have the 1970 BOSS, that I purchased as a left over in early 71 when I came back from my first tour in Nam, Mike.:bigthumbsup 28,364 original miles.

Isn't it nice when other people want to spend your money for you.

Kooks doesn't make any 2011+ V6 headers yet that I've seen and if they did they would cost a lot more than BBK.

There is a before and after video on youtube for the BBK install, I believe it was about a 20 RWHP gain.

Thanks for posting header dyno vid

I'm glad you posted the vid, now i will never spend hundreds of dollars to make my new stang sound like a piece of SH#T.
One of our cobra guys just got a $600 noise ticket and that rattletrap is twice as loud, you would never be able to step on the gas around town.

Not sure why you singled out the Roush axleback for scorn; the thread's about dynoing mods such as BBK headers.

What's a "possi?"

Different areas have different noise laws. I live in Georgia, it's perfectly legal to run LT's, O/R midpipes, and straight pipes. OP lives in New Mexico. Noise laws there are probably similar.

The other thing is that you need to do a base run on the dyno to know what the power is before the headers so that you have something to compare to after the BBK install, otherwise you don't really know what they added.

What I don't understand is why our dynos rate the v6 at 250 or so HP, while Ford's rates it at 305? Are all cars this way? how can car companies market something at a specific horsepower @ a certain RPM and when that car is put on a dyno, it's not?

Ford rates the HP at the flywheel and all the dyno HP numbers here are at the rear wheels.

Very simple: the advertized numbers are flywheel HP and TQ
