Dyno tuning I hit a wall..lean problem

lol...not literally.

during the tuning process '05 gt with Saleen s/c, my fuel started to lean out at around 4100 rpm and carried on at about a 45 deg angle until we shut her down at 5000 rpm. We have GT500 injectors, we don't lose fuel rail pressure. We tried adding in fuel with no luck the exact same situation occured. It definatley seems to be a mechanical issue not the program. I have original throttle position sensor which the system caught a fault code on, is it possible that the sensor is causing a fuel lean?. Thanks

Sure it could. TPS monitors the position of the TB butterflies. If the TPS thinks the blades are closed when they are actually open, that could be a problem. Replacement TPS p/n 6L2Z9B989A
turns out everything was related to a corrupted tune (did need the tps replaced anyway). Got it dialed in and am ear to ear grinning with 397 rwhp on the mustang dyno, very happy indeed, wish I could get my dynochart posted. thanks for your help stl
397 on a MD is nice. Congrats!
