As you can see the seller finally agrees this is not a GT500 spoiler and admits they need to change the listing name. From the link you provided they have not. I kept what I had since I did not want to risk not getting a refund. To complicate things one of the pre lined screw holes was stripped out. I made it work but I would highly suggest you purchase elsewhere.

The "gt500" spoiler I ordered arrived today. Thank you for the fast shipping. Upon opening the box it was immediately appearant the spoiler is not a gt500 spoiler rather some other spoiler. I already have an oem gt spoiler and was looking for the gt 500 style. The pictures make it hard to tell in the listing...
I have a second mustang that I can install this on however before leaving feedback wanted to get your suggestion on the situation.

Hi Rob,
I have had some confusion over this before and have researched it before. From what I have determined is that our spoiler is the actual GT500 spoiler that you would purchase from Ford for a regular GT500. But, there is one or more spoilers that would be through the Shelby line. Meaning they would be "Shelby GT500 spoilers" That is why I do not put "Shelby" in our ad but some of the other Ebay sellers do which is not correct. Go to this link and let me know if the type of spoiler that is on these mustangs is the spoiler that you thought it was.

I appreciate the quick response. The spoiler you have shown in the link is similar to what I had expected. For your reference there is no model of the GT500 that is not a Shelby.
There are three OEM spoilers for the 2012-2014 mustangs. The first is similar to the one you sent, the second is called a pedestal which is on the GT/CS and the third is for the GT 500.
The spoiler I received from you is wider than the standard GT spoiler, however is OEM only in height and rear extension. It is closest to the standard spoiler but is neither. I took it to my local dealership this morning after I sent you the email I felt bad like I was a bit crazy... They looked at it and laughed, they took me around the lot and to the showroom to show me the different spoilers available.
If you have an actual GT500 spoiler available for sale I would gladly exchange this for that.

Hi Rob,
Maybe I'm going crazy. My supplier has told me that is what is was and I did look into it a couple of years ago and thought I knew. But, I did go to Fords website and look at the spoilers and our is not there. Its like you said, I need to re label it as a custom spoiler. That's all I have so If you want to return it then I understand.
