Have you tried to call Edelbrock? I have some phone #'s that might help you get a faster answer.

Edelbrock EForce CAI, is it still backordered?
I got my supercharger installed a month or two ago and it was still backordered. So i am running a Steeda CAI on my E-Force, which i am happy with but i want to run the E-Force CAI since it comes with the heat shield, upgraded MAF and was designed to work with it. Does anyone know any information on if it is still backordered or not? I was told that in March they'd be shipping them out, then april, then june. So thats the reason for my question.

I had sent a letter to Edelbrock about the cai being backordered and how Tillman's helped me out by using a Steeda cai and how he tried other cai at no cost to me. Vic Edelbrock called me to explain what had happen with there supplier and how Edelbrock will be making there own.This all happen about a week and a half ago and at that time they had over 40 still on backorder.
hmmm... at this point it seems like i should just grab myself a heatshield and keep the steeda.
One thing that i am concerned about however, is that i paid like $600 something for the E-Force CAI from Tillmanspeed and i got the Steeda one instead, now i KNOW the steeda is a LOT cheaper than $600, so i either am entitled to the Eforce CAI or a refund, am i right? Or do i sound nuts lol

Hey hotshot, which Steeda intake is used for this set-up? I'm planning on ordering my E-Force today and I confirmed that their Competition Air Intake is still on backorder. I guess I'll have to just get the SCT BA5000 MAF since I'll be getting the 2.75" pulley for 15psi but I need to know which intake works with it.
I'm going to run into the same problem. I want to order my E-Force today and the Edelbrock CAI is still back ordered. I guess I'll do the Steeda CAI and get the SCT BA5000 MAF.

I thought I read awhile back you sayin the Steeda CAI was about identical to the Edelbrock one, Flow rate, etc.... Is that no longer true? That was going to be my attempt to save some money on the kit since I already have the intake and tuner.
Summit pushed back the deliver date to July 27th.......I want more power.
I spoke with Chris Tillman and Chris Rose and they said that the Steeda CAI will only support up to 450-475 rwhp so that won't work for me.
Chris Tillman did say though that the new Edelbrock intake may be shipping out next week so that's a good sign.
