Hey guys I was just curious to see if any of you have experience with the Edelbrock Performer Intake clone sold by different manufactures on summit, late model, or american muscle. I just purchased one to put on my fully built 306 which i have not dropped in yet and I was curious to see how this intake clone stands up against the original. All the hardware from the original performer fits directly onto this manifold from what I've heard so I'm also using a 1/2 in spacer to clear my tall valve covers, Lemme know what you think!

It will probably perform just the same. Before installing it be sure to clean up any machining defects that tend to be present on 'cloned' parts (and even the name brand stuff).

My dad had to clean up his summit racing intake for his 427 small block pretty good before installing it.

Good luck!
