Educate me on building my block....

the title says it all. well after doing some research on the fate of my engine, if I'm going to build my motor, I'm gonna go the rotating assembly way, rather than the short block, due to $$$, plus what am I gonna do with an stock engine block in my garage??

I've looked at all the rotating assemblys on the market; BBR, MMR, Livernois, JDM and Stage 3 Motorsports. all within the same price range of each other, stage 3 having to be 400 bucks cheaper. from doing extensive research, everyone gives Kudos to Livernois Motorsports due to the quality of the parts. based upon that, I'd def be going with Livernois. I'm just going with the basic forged roating assembly, no stroker kit or the different machined pistons.

now for the questions. someone mentioned that my engine block needs to be machined for the rotating assembly to fit? is this true? also they said I want to invest in the GT500 oil pump, for the stock oil pump doesn't like forged internals. I will also need a new crank pulley to balance out the new forged crank??

any other info is greatly appreciated!
