ok i have just installed the bbk shorty equal length tube headers. the stock egr tube is too long for these new headers. i bought these headers used and did not get the new egr tube bbk offers. long story short, i have a car show in the morning and was wondering if i cap off the egr from the header, will it run ok to get to the show? keep in mind i have my smog pump and everything 50 state legal still. need some input asap. its on a 94 year model 302

Just use rubber hose and nylon barb fittings to extend the old tube. Later on get fancy and replace it with a braided stainless hose.
