Electrical upgrade q

742 Views 2 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  BadlandsGhost
I'm going to be adding the "engine ground" upgrade in the next week or two, along with a 3g alt. As part of this plan, I've already replaced the + to solenoid cable with a new 2 ga, and want to replace all the other battery cables. My question is what lengths should I look for?

(I know I could take the stockers off and measure them, but this would just double the work, since the 93 is our only running car)

Thanks

The best way is to run a string to where you want it. If you want to take a path that is more stealth you will of course need a longer cable.
Good point, I hadn't thought about doing the string thing. And right now, I'm just going for a stock replacement, but 2 gauge. Hiding the wiring may come into it, but that point is SOOO far away that theres no point right now.

Thanks for the idea, :drink:
