Embarassed a 3000GT

So i pulled up next to this 3000GT last week and the guy looks over and asks if i want to run em. So he asks me how much horse i am runnin and i tell him about 200:winks , he then tells me his car is far from stock, so he gets me a little nervous but i race him anyways. The light turned green and it was over just as quickly. I pulled real hard on him and he gave up when i was about 4 car lengths ahead of him, which didnt take long.

the non-twin turbo cars are slow & heavy. One of my students tried taking my 6 in one, whupped 'im good!

well there are three different trims

the base-sohc3.0L put about 180-190 at the crank
SL or ES or R/T(if you are talkin stealths too)-dohc3.0L about 220 at the crank
VR4 or R/T TT-doch3.0LTT with 300-320 at the crank depending on the year and they have awd where the other models are front

yeah, he had the one with 220. The thing weight a ton, and there's not much torque with a 3.0L without turbos.
