If you have an EFI, you may want to check your Mass Air sensor and see if that needs to be cleaned. If you do clean it make sure you DO NOT touch the sensor, just use crc electrical cleaner.
Engine running lean
alright...got my car running again, after i changed the timing cover, water pump, exct.....however its running lean...check the timing, checked the egr valve, anything else i should consider to fix this

Did you reconnect the vacuum line to the charcoal canister? It will read lean if it doesn't get to purge fumes. Make sure the canister purge solenoid is opening and closing as it should.
