Hey guys,
I have a 90 gt. My problem is that at around 3000 rpm my stang acts as though it wants to die. I have changed the fuel pump twice, filter, plugs and plug wires. still to no avail.....
any help would be greatly appreciated.
is it a gt clone? you posted in the 2.3l (4 cylinder) section, just in case you oops'd.:winks
whatever engine you have, pull codes from it. http://www.troublecodes.net/Ford/
thats how to pull codes without a code reader. if you want a code reader theyre only $25-30 at the parts stores.
codes will tell us a lot of usefull info to help fix your problem, so the whole process will go quicker and be easier.
Yes....my bad, its a 5.0.
Thanks for the site and the advise.
I need all the help I can get cause I kno jack when it comes to these computerize cars.
Thanks again....
you might want to post over in the 5.0l tech section since your engine is a 5.0 :winks. theres not a lot of diagnostic difference, but they should be able to point out any potential gremlins (aka little quirks) that the v8 has that the 4 bangers dont. and that section does get more traffic than this one .
