Engine stalls on launch 1993 2.3 hatch

I cannot do a hard launch because the engine stalls out. I can however launch from a burn out. The only way i can get a solid launch is to get rpm up before i go. any ways to stop this?

No. You are talking about a 90 hp engine with
peak torque of 125 lb/ft. You have to get the
rpms up to launch. You could increase the rear
gear ratio. I don't know what gears you have now.
