I had a serious vibration at 1800 rpm which was pretty much eliminated when the torque converter was replaced. I assume the lock-up function was faulty. However there still is vibration at in park at about 1500-1800 rpm. Replacing the harmonic balancer did not help. Can anybody advise where to look now? Thanks

Transmission Mount, Motor Mount or U Joint. Check them out in that order.

And although you didn't mention the year details, most OD transmissions are activated electrically. There is a 'switch' that might cause the converter to lock in and out causing a stuttering.
