Wondering if anyone has an answer for me. Got an 81 foxbody, has a 302 swapped into it with shorty headers. Nothing else to the back. Called the local exhaust shop and they can find any listing because it didn’t come with a 302. Anyone know if any kits or combos that will work? Will a H-pipe setup work? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You need the double hump trans crossmember to put in a dual exhaust but after installing that any newer aftermarket dual exhaust that fits up to 1993 will work. A straight exit LX exhaust would be a better fit than a downturn GT exhaust though.
It has the Lx exhaust tips on it. Just need the missing middle pieces from headers to tailpipes. Also pondering the idea of switching it to 4bbl. Any carb/intake recommendations?

A 302 was swapped into it with only a 2v carb? Was this a 4 or 6 cylinder originally?
A Weiand Stealth dual plane intake manifold and a Holley 4160 600cfm carb with a very thin phenolic spacer would be my recommendation. However, the cam in the engine is likely a malaise era cam(1973-83) with poor power capability. I would get a mild street cam for it too.
