I'm currently dealing with an issue with a mustang I just bought that has been sitting for a year. After replacing the fuel pump and a new battery, I was able to get her running. Problem is I have a serious lack of power and around 3k RPM the exhaust hose that hooks up to the EGR position sensor blows off. I think it could be clogged up cat's causing too much back pressure. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

BTW it's a 2002 GT Convertible.

I can't offer much help on your problem, but depending on your state's emissions laws you could look into getting either an offroad midpipe or a high flow catted midpipe. These will give you a nice sound and a small bump in performance. If your problem turns out to be clogged cats, it will most likely be cheaper to get an aftermarket midpipe anyways!

Agreed with the above. Could be caused by clogged cats. Buy an aftermarket mid-pipe and be done with it.

Where are you in STL anyway?
