I'm looking at the SLP Loudmouth axle back or the roush axle back. Which would give the better sound like a muscle car? The roush sounds really deep and no Ricky sound...?

No exhaust on a V6 will give a "muscle car" sound since muscle cars are all V8's and the 3.7 is lacking a couple of cylinders.

Your best bet is just to find the youtube clip you like the sound of best and go for it.
Bad wording on my part, I'm looking for a deeper sound
Same answer, just find the sound clip you like best and go with that setup.

All sound deeper than stock.

You may want to check out Bassani on YouTube Americanmuscle.com. I think they are the best sounding v6 mufflers for our cars. I have a lightly used set I could sell you and we could both avoid the shipping costs. Only about 2k miles and 6 months on them. PM me if interested.

I think the Bassani sounds much better when you do the full setup.

If your into taking it in to a shop so they can weld in some, have some Flomaster 40's welded in, maybe even some super 44's, but IMO I think the 40's would sound the best

Those Borlas are nice, but loud, if you go with a L/T, O/R X, it will just about wake the dead
I will be staying away from the L/T's and h-pipe. I may do the x pipe conversion. It gets plenty of attention as is

Cars today will not sound like cars of yesterday just by design.
Sorry not my cup of tea but that is just my opinion. And loose the cobra emblem.

Put whatever you want on your car. All I am saying is you are bringing shame to yourself and other mustang enthusiasts. I have owned a 1990 GT, 1996 GT, 2006 GT, and now my 2013 V6. I have used parts off some of the special additions but they were what they were GT and or V6. Be proud of your car but please help us out by removing the cobra.

Back to the exhaust. Some of the best exhaust I have ever heard on a lot of cars was done in a custom exhaust shop. They will have their own distinct sound. You should look into that. There are some videos online of custom exhausts.
Would love to hear this one WOT:
