2000-2500 RPM is where resonance is highest, so that's probably why it seems loudest there. Mines kinda the same way.
Is the resonance through the pipes or just my muffler? To me it sounds like the muffler becuase i had a video filming the exhaust from the rear and you couldnt hear the resonance but in car you can.2000-2500 RPM is where resonance is highest, so that's probably why it seems loudest there. Are you running a set of Flowmaster Outlaw Series mufflers, an Outlaw Axle-Back kit, or a pair of resonators?Hey everyone, so i want some input from you all. I have a o/r h pipe and flowmaster outlaw resonance chambers and the exhaust sound seems to flux between certain rpm ranges. On mine between 2000 and 2500 rpm seems to be the loudest and right after 2500 it quiets down. So right now i am trying to figure out whether its the resoance chambers doing it or whether a set of after market cams will fix it. Please comment your exhaust setup, cams, and what rpms yours seems loudest and ill see if i can find a pattern here. Thanks
It is outlaw axle backsAre you running a set of Flowmaster Outlaw Series mufflers, an Outlaw Axle-Back kit, or a pair of resonators?
Its not drone, i got rid of drone when i went to the o/r h pipe.I think you are experiencing what they commonly call "drone" -- it's a resonance thing that typically happens in that RPM neighborhood
