Will it make a BIG difference if I go with the Mac dual exhaust y-pipe system for my 96 v6 instead of the Mac true dual system? :confused:

depends on your current mods and future mods. If you have alot of air comming into your intake right now with a CAI, port and polish etc etc, and you are planning on adding a power adder in the future then I would go with the true dual. The Y pipe dual kit is equally as good and may save you future time upgrading our exhaust.

will it sound different than the true duals? I plan on getting a turbo put in by the end of november (only 4psi) will I have to get the true duals then? oh ya one more thing I cant seem to find Good a exhaust kit for my 96 V6????:confused:

If you are getting a turbo, you are going to want true duals. What you will probably want to do is buy a Pacesetter h-pipe which will allow you to use a V8 catback exhaust. This will give you true duals and will open up your options for the catback system.

If you're going to go turbo, you may as well buy a 2001+ longblock. those 96 engines aren't very sturdy. At the VERY least a 2001+ shortblock.

how much do they run? and about the exhaust will it make a big difference in sound and performance if I get the Y pipes rather than the true duals??????

You can pick up a used shortblock with low mileage for 300 dollars. You should get a pacesetter or mac adapter if you're going to duals.

They make a HUGE difference for boosted applications. If you're planning any type of power adder, N2O, SC or Turbo, you should forget about the y-pipe.
