Well story in a sentance getting a 11 5.0 in feb and vortech sc and using canned tune. My dad got me my Xmas present early he bought me the boss side exhuast and borla axle backs. Qustion is if I'm running the canned vortech tune will I be ok running the exhuast or will it mess everything up. Hell I will have my sct still and really for want to pay 250 for every mod I add. From what I heard Bama does not have the vortech down. Thoughts or advice thanks

Anything after the cats will have zero impact on the tune. The side exhaust and axlebacks with make no difference as far as engine performance goes.

jw = Just wondering?

No hp gain from the Boss sidepipes as far as I know. 6-8hp isn't going to be noticeable and would be within the margin of error on a dyno, especially a supercharged car.

Also, if you are serious about running the canned Vortech tune just know that a lot of people say that and end up getting a custom tune because of driveability they felt was lacking.

Sorry for text talk lol and was just going to do it from a realibilty stand point as car wot have any warrenty. I'm sure over time il buy the vmp one. But it's 250 bucks and if I add any more mods il have to pay 250 again for another tune . The vortech tune is 540 at wheels I think. Custom tune is near 600

I'd give you no more than 5 days on the Vortech tune. Peak HP numbers mean nothing if the driveability suffers. Also if you buy a tune from VMP or others they offer free or reduced prices for updates. Shop around.

You're right. Boss sidepipes = nothing. The shape of the pipes causes a high pressure system anyway that restricts flow out the openings in the first place. Yes, exhaust still exists but doesn't affect real world flow.
