I want to get an ez pass but I heard the ones that go in the windshield don't work in all cars. Will they work in my 06?

I have a FasTrack pass for the Bay Area bridges on mine and it works just fine.

Some luxury cars with defroster inside the glass stop ezpass from working.

You can also get the license plate frame mount ones if a problem.

My PikePass works just fine. On the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority's website, they list the vehicles that could potentially have a problem. You might check your state's.

I have a SpeedPass here in Illinois that works great. It was mounted on the windsheild when I bought it, but now just toss it up on the dash. Never had an issue. If you have your car registered with it, then any missed reads will be cross checked and then deducted from you device...at least that is how it should work. Not sure about NJ rules.

ive used mine from NY to NC with zero issues. I keep it in the glove box and hold it up for when i hit a toll

yeah just lay it on ur dash when u wiz by. that way u don't ugly up ur windshield.

Mine works just fine. The only time I had a problem which required me to use a bumper mount transponder was when I had a Dodge pickup. Apparently, Dodge had something in their truck and Minivan windows that interfered with the transponder.
