I just ordered the factory hood scoop for my 09 GT. Does anybody know if the bolts through the hood are supposed to go through the hood insulation as well? I'm guessing I'll need to remove the insulation bolt it up and then cover the whole thing back up with the insulation. Can someone with the stock hood scoop tell me if they see bolts through the insulation?

Thanks! Are the bolts (threaded rod?) cut off flush with the nuts or do they stick out past the nuts? I was just wondering if I would have to cut them down for hood/engine clearance.

Mine are threaded stick out a little past the bolts
