Anyone know how to fast forward an ipod via the steering wheel controls? It just skips tracks. I tried holding it, looked in the manual etc with no luck. Works fine with the dash controls.

I don't think it's possible. I have an iPhone, not an iPod, but otherwise my experience matches yours: fast-forward or skip tracks using the dash controls, skip tracks only using the steering wheel buttons.
