Has anyone heard anything pro or con about Fat Knobs? I'm looking for a replacement and want something to fit the cars retro theme. I've seen all the ones from MGW, Mustang Tuning, etc. but none of them have been to my liking. I had a real nice fat one from my '65 2+2, but it wont fit the new threads. I'm looking for something 2 1/4" to 2 1/2" diameter.

There was thread on here many moons ago in which some dude described how he was drilling out pool balls and putting an insert into them to fit our shifters, he was originally using an 8 ball and then switched over to a 5 ball to better match his 5 speed tranny:kooky: .

If you look at my post / link about, I drill & tap my cue balls to fit the 05/06's too. No need for an insert! :tongue
