Has anybody removed the GT emblem from the front fenders? Would like to know if there's a hole there or not. I like'm nekked. Anybody that needs to know what it is, will already know. To every one else, they'll never know anyway.
Thanks
Thanks

Bill, that looks really good. How did you take the GT emblem off and did you get the pony from Ford parts? TIABillR said:The 06 pony emblem fit perfectly where the GT emblem was. The holes in the fender and the pins on the emblem line up perfectly.
I agree. They didn't notice it, I didn't tell'em:smoke:Fryguy_pa said:If you ask me, I like the V6 "fake gas cap" better. In fact, I am getting ready to swap my GT one with one on the V6's. The tri-bar pony looks better.
You can use a heat gun, carefully, or a good hair drier, to soften the stick on tape. Then use either dental floss or a thin fishing line and use a sawing action around the letters to seperate the letters from the fender. then cleaning off any sticky mess left over.sandyman said:Bill, that looks really good. I used a panel remover tool and a rag to protect the paint. I applied moderate constant presure. The emblem slowly came unstuck. Didn't leave any residue - in fact the GT emblem is still 100% sticky and reusable.sandyman said:Bill, that looks really good.
