After driving around all over Texas and wasting endless amount of time and gas money only to find junkers and just plain garbage cars, I came across this original unmolested (except for Flowmasters) 86 GT convertible 5.0 H.O 5spd.. with a working A/C!
I was thrilled to say the least, I drove it back home without a hiccup at 75 to 80mhp for about 30 miles in a 110 degree weather.
Is definitely going to need some TLC but that's to expect out of a 24 year old car, even the fog lights work, all the windows, power locks, and the top works fine too, I'm posting a couple of pictures maybe I can get some of your response, I'm exited to be back in a 5.0!
OH! and it I got it for only $2500........
Well I thought I'd share this with you guys.
Thanks:bigthumbsup

You west coast and southern folks are lucky...

For that price all you'll find are super clunkers out here.

Edit: Congrats on the find. She's a pretty one.

Thanks guys for all the positive feedback.......:wavey

Looks Very Solid in those pics. :bigthumbsup
Leaving it stock?, or time to start wrenching? :gringreen
She's very solid and all original right down to the air intake which is rare to find, and I'm planning to keep her that way, no need to wrench away, she's won't be seeing the race track anytime soon.;)

Thank you,.... this wasn't an easy find, it costed me a lot of time and frustration but it paid off in the end after six months of hunting, but yeah..maybe there's a bit luck involved, also timming is a big factor I think.

Nice find! Where did you pick it up at? I'm originally from Plano. It wasn't over there was it?
Thanks bud,.. I found her on Craigslist in Keller TX, after weeding out all the over priced junk for months and guys asking $4K and $5k for cars without engine sometimes, and totally butchered other times....... I jumped right in on the deal, she was on CL for less than 24hrs, if you're from Plano you'll definitely see me around.:wavey I think she'll be hard to miss haha!
