i bought my mustang from a guy who origionally bought it for his mom, she got too old to drive and the car sat for about 2 years..... when i got it it ran pretty weakly, my idle was acting funny and the power wasnt there..... changed the oil..... 2 weeks pass and the last few days ive been noticing im getting a lot more power when i floor it and better gas mileage. about 300 on this last tank filled to copacity.... im guessing this time im going for high 300's. its just amazing how a car can shape up with a little driving. these 2.3's were not meant to sit..... oh yea did i menation im a good 275lbs and my speaker box is about 50lbs haha

i took out my spare, made sure all my tires were inflated to the right psi, you know the little stuff to improve fuel economy and performance without actually touching the engine. im thinking it might about be time to let it breathe more and maybe take out the back seats to allow more room for my subs and lighten the car

theres just my 2 cents of the day

Ya you def should cut down some weight and your stang will pep up like mine! :wavey
yea most def.... i wish i could get a decent sized box togo in my trunk but with the convert i dont see it happening.. subs will stay on the backseats at least for now.
the question is what do you do to lighten it? i have a notch so what should i get rid of? just removed my AC system yesterday.:gringreen
my AC still blows snowcones.... no compliants here :). it stays till it blows hot air
mine did that started blowing hot and didnt ever have the money to fix it so i pulled it out yesterday.:D
yea dont you have to replace it with a newer ac system that doesnt run off freon.. costs way to much i have convertible AC just put the top down and oh yea
well you have to have the system converted from R12 (they say bad to the Ozone) to R134A the most expensive part is removing the R12 and storing it safely the best way is to accidentally let it out into the air.;)
