Anyone have any clear pics of a firewall on a '70 Mach 1 or similar? An unusual request perhaps, but I think I have some extra bends or folds in the firewall of a project car I'm working on, and I have nothing to compare it to.
I discovered well into the project that this car had been hit in the left front at some point, and have already begun dealing with the previously hidden damage that I've seen. I have the LF frame rail, torque box, and left side floor pan cut out and have the new rail ready to go back in.
While mocking up the frame rail's position I found that the lower edge of the firewall is too far rearward and that's when I began questioning some of the bends or folds that I see in the firewall. I'd just like to see what it's supposed to look like so I know exactly what area needs straightened out.
Any pics are appreciated, but some clear, close-up views of the driver's side firewall would be most helpful. Anybody have an engine out that can snap a few pics??
