after 6 months of work the engine is in and tomorrow the boys are coming by and we're gonna fire the monster! Just in time for cruising! YEA!

Hello 1hot65mustang,
FIRST - -the motor and engine compartment look great.

Now a TIp from a safety minded guy - -

PLEASE - -have a fire extinguisher handy when you start her for the first time.

I doubt you have leaks (just by looking at the detail - -BUT it is far better
to over cautious. I know this may seem foolish to some - -BUT I am trying
to remind others as well as yourself to always make safety a priority.

Let us know how it goes and how about a video"

YEA BABY! Got it fired! Sounded good, really rompy idle. Now the tweaking and tuning begins.........But, IT RUNS!

that is one hawt a$$ breast cancer awareness motor. Very original with the pink, I love it. How did you get all those different components pink?

Hahahahaha! Sorry, It's actually red. Every time I take a picture with my cell phone, the color comes out wrong. Not a bad idea though.....

does it have a flat tappet cam, if so did you break it in properly? just a thought that always comes to mind with the first startup of a new engine.
