We've been making sure to stay busy with our new Boss. We've already had Vaughn Gittin jr drift it with less than 1000 miles on it. This time Jeremy Martorella of UPR Products got the chance to take it down the drag strip for the first time with just under 1400 miles on it.

Our second run of the evening yielded us a [email protected] with a 1.51 60ft. The car hooks great and Jeremy was very impressed with how fast it was. He was shifting the car at 7800-7900rpms. For our tire and wheel setup we're running a set of Bogart Bolted GT's along with some Hoosier front runners and Mickey Thompson 15" ET Drags.

As far as the rest of the mods go unfortunately we're not going to disclose that right now as you'll be able to read all about it in a up coming issue of 5.0 Mustang Magazine compliments of Steve Turner.

That's crazy and 7900rpm must feel awesome. I guess that a coyote will need a boss computer if its built for n/a.. I going to say that I think that this boss has nitrous tho.

In watching the video though, the left rear tire looks like its not getting burnout power. Is the stock lsd's not holding the torque? (especially with slicks)

Yeah it kinda makes me cringe watching the smoke but not seeing the rear left tire spin...

Vaughn Gittin, Jr is to blame for the worn diff. Lol. Drifting puts major stress on the LSD. It still held up to 6k rpm launches on ET drags though so it can't be completely shot.

It's gonna be a hoot to watch this Pony go through it's progression. Lethal Performance does a jam up job on their Mustangs. Wonder how long it will be till this one get's down in the 8's:bigthumbsup

I dropped the Boss back at PBH this afternoon. Tomorrow starts another round of mods. We're looking to make some BIG power and go even faster than we have been in our 2011 5.0l. Can't wait to see how this new setup works out.
