Hi,

New here.

2000 V6 Convert. 5 spd 60K. All stock.

Just started:

When in 1st or 2nd, and I accelerate, to about 3K rpm, the Battery Icon on the dash panel begins to flicker and then stays on momentarily. As soon as I let-off, it goes out. Does not do it at high speed in 3-4 or 5. The dash gauge says it's charging...and battery is in good shape with full charge.

Searched the forum and checked the Users Man...no luck...

Any ideas?

TIA,

Mick

My friends F-150 with a 4.2 V6 does the same thing but it does it later in the RPM range. He uses it as a shift light! :laughlitt
