Just thought I'd post because some of you might be thinking of doing this.... I bought the foglight and headlight tint from Mustang Parts Performance & Modifications - StangMods.com and Matt was extremely helpful and professional. Shipping was super fast and accurate.

I wasn't sure if I would like these - but I love these... gives the car a whole new look - walking to my car at work - I have to just stare (well, that's a given)... I say, do it if you were thinking about it - I installed them in my driveway and it took maybe a half hour.... :bigthumbsup :hihi:

they look good on your car. However, I thought about tinting my foglights, but decided on a black car, that was too dark...plus I paid good money for Halo foglights, I want to show them off when I drive at night.

thats so cool that they are using the pics from your car to advertise the product. I knew that car looked familiar :)

I'd like to know what kind of color they give off. Because i like the idea of the blue light like i had in my truck, but this actually gives it that nice tint for during the daytime where the blue bulb itself would not.

Looks great. How does it adhere?
Mark, it's just like racing stripes... you use the water and detergent mix... they have an adhering back, you spray the area.... get it where you want... and squeege until no bubbles appear. I do, however, suggest installing these in direct sunlight and in warm weather! (that's not on the instructions):bigthumbsup

I have no idea what percent tint they are... but they aren't like regular window tint, MUCH THICKER thickness...

I drive my car mostly during the day, so this mod is more effective in the daylight.... I explain below about functionality LOL (please see below):D

I guess you have to pull them off when you drive at night. How long do you think they will last?
You don't have to pull them off at night.... the point of them is: they give off a great look during the day - they're really not for changing the color of the light... they're for looks only... no functionality.... although they give off a faint light blue hue at night - not the powerful, blinding one you get from the installation of new lights. They do not inhibit seeing at night.

A I'll be honest Drew.... I think they'll last quite a while, they're very thick as opposed to "window" tint.

I hate to be bash any mod anyone does to their mustangs, but I really dont see much of a difference. I smoked my headlights and foglights with a kit from americanmuscle.com and it really stands out. You probably werent looking for a dark tint though.

Looks great, Judi! If you like it, I LOVE it!! :hihi:

And I'm so thankful we're not required to have a front license plate.

I definitely like the subtle look to it. I previously had tinted my lights with a similar product, but found that I was relying completely on my fog lights for driving since it was too dark. As cool as some dark tints look on certain cars, I like how yours is classy and functional. Great job!
