Foose Stang

I never thought I would see the day when someone gets their Stang done up by the great Chip Foose/Overhaulin' then turn around and sell it on ebay. I knew I would see a Foose/Overhaulin' car on ebay sooner or later, but not the Foose Stang. If it were mine, it would be priceless and would never be for sale...even if my situation in life change as to make the car impractical. To me it is art. :happyhapp:eyebulge::happyhapp:eyebulge::happyhapp:eyebulge::eyepoppin:laughlitt

I couldn't agree with you more. I bet they saw a way to make a quick buck off the Foose name. What gets me is the car is practically new,why did that car need an overhauling when someone really needed an older car fixed up.
It would be cool to have Foose come up with something special for anyones car.My favorite Overhauling was when Foose gave that kid in a wheel chair some of his awesome artwork...that was special.I bet that kid never sells those drawings.
I didn't think she appreciated the car when the show aired-it was like, gee thanks for not messing it up. They should screen better, she was a dud. Most people would be in tears, like Chip, when he was overhauled.
$45k and the reserve hasn't been met? :eyebulge: they're really milking this thing, uh?
is that the one with the procharger in it? nice car .vynle
That's maybe the best looking GT I've seen so far. Not riced out to death w/ all the over sized body slap on's. Too bad these low life's were lucky enough to have all this done for free. What do you all figure for that overhaul? 15-20k?? They can do mine next if they want!!!

Exactly. I don't think she liked the car that much in the first place and really could not comprehend what the big deal was about overhaulin it. You know, some people just do not have a feel for certain things; she probobly doesn't drink, gamble or orgasam either
To be honest, I'd be POed too if someone modded up my stang without any direction from me. 18 inch wheels at the most, and maybe the Saleen HID lights (going for only $900 now). That'd be it for exterior for me. under the hood, maybe a twin screw. More comfortable seats would be ok. big sub-woofer... NOT. But if I was unfortunate enough to be overhaul'd at least I could sell it on ebay and buy back a new stock car and have a few coin left over.
Just checked e-bay and the car sold for alittle over $50K. The buyer name and address was not listed. Make a bet that Foose bought the car back for his own collection. After all he is a Ford man...In any case maybe now someone has her that will appreciate a great car.
I would like to hope that Foose himself bought it. If not him, maybe someone like Jay Leno, then at least we all know it went to a good home and will be driven. Anyways, Foose is welcome to choose one of my cars anyday of the week (and twice on Sundays) to trick out.

LOL- Count me in too :wavey but leave the trunk alone. It's tough enough trying to get the hockey bag in there.

I thought Chip Foose was more of a Mopar guy, I always catch him sayin' about the thrills he has with Mopars when watching some of his shows. Maybe I was wrong..

Amen, brother. Try getting a goalie bag in there.

:gringreen The pads must be in the back seat. I lower one back seat to get the twig's in.
They seem to do a good job on Overhaulin' but who knows what short cuts are being taken in that tight deadline. Just look at the Foose BF Goodrich Mustang. The trunk has that ill-fitting Foose tri-bar badge and modeled paint. Atleast that's how it looks to me. Why even show close up shots if the quality is that poor.

Good point-I always said the same thing about those quick home make over programs. Let's see it after a year has passed. :eyebulge:
It is the Overhauling host that is the Mopar nut ,short term memory kicking in again, can't remember his name. I watch the show every chance I get. The last episode was on Chips old Ford P/U. Chip also owns a tricked out T-Bird that I have seen on the show. I know his dad is a Ford fan so I asume Chip is as well. In any case the guy is a god in the car word right now. Just got my RCCA (Diecast Collectibles) catalog and Chip has a paint sceme on #24 Jeff Gordon car for the California race.
I finally saw this epeisode last night. What an idiot she was to get rid of it. She had a super charger laid in her lap for free. Plus had a one of a kind paintjob, and many pre-releash extras. Ugh, I hope Chip bought it back.
My question is what rims were used on this car as well as the BF car? I cant find them on his site. Any help would be appreciated.
Foose rims

According to the show, those rims were one-off rims, created just for that Stang. However, if you follow the show, they look awefully close to the one-off rims created for Chip Foose when he got Overhauled. Hence why they were not available on the Foose website.
