What about the coil wire to the cap?
Ford 302 Motor Help, no fire from coil to distributor
Haveing trouble getting fire from the coil to the distributer.
Any suggestions woul be appreciated.
The coil is brand new and the distributer has new points and rotor

it sounds like you have a bad distributor module, is the module (chip) that goes on out side of the distributor, is this thing if bad, then you won't have spark at all.
