I know you pain. Ordered 2/20/10, built 5/10/10 first ETA 5/29/10, then on Quality Hold, off the hold 6/14/10, Shipped 6/14/10 in N.J. on 6/25 with a ETA 7/2/10. My salesman was off yesterday and wasn't aware that my GT was there since yesterday. I called the dealership at noon, whinning and bitching where the hell is my car at the saleman. My two step daughters left the house and went outside after my forth or fifth this B.S. They in six years never saw me loss my cool. He offered to try to locate another one similar options with another dealer and would call me back. So I decide to drive down to Ford to check on his progress. My saleman is away from his desk and the General Sales Manager ask if he can help me. Yeah, I say and tell him that the $750 private cash offer ends today and no car. So he got my VIN tracks down the transport company whom inform him the car there. We dropped it off the other day.
Bottom line, it's 3:00 pm and we completed the paper work, they only washed the car per my request and it's now home. Clay bar and all day polishing job tomorrow in th garage.
Bad news - My GT was rec'd with a Ford Quality Review Sheet - We drove your car for 90.4 miles. The dealer kinda made it right with the extended 7 year Ford Warranty package at cost. I never get these things, but the price was right. Besides, I have the Nav system
I hope you all get your cars soon - I was willing to take another car from another dealer if a trade could have been made or cancel if the private cash offer expired w/o the car.
Yeah, all the stress and BS will change once the car comes it. Will post pic's soon. It's worth the wait.....
