has anyone purchased a block from ford racing. weather it be a long block or short block. im lookin at buying the 347 bottom end that is preassembled and swapping my top end over. they use hyperuetectic pistons and im a little leary of using those because i plan on using a 100 shot of NX and i havent heard much about those pistons.

Yes , they use hyperutectic pistons in those . It should handle a 100 shot just fine as long as it is tuned right . If you plan on going with a bigger shot down the road then you should go forged . I would go with a dss or coast high performance short block .

Yes , because they are using better components , so that adds cost ;)
