Looking at the available cranks, pistons and rods. Stock crank is supposedly a very durable forging. Several brands of pistons and rods out there, been looking at the Boss parts from the Ford counter. Not too many people probably beating on them yet, so specs-wise how would a sinter-forged rod hold up? The price is pretty decent.

I'll have to check the specs to see how loose Ford runs the Boss pistons, but I suspect it's enough that a machine hone with a torque plate would get everything perfect on standard bore size.

Or aftermarket parts, which ones?

I've seen some of those parts before. The Boss parts are about half the price.
Boss rotating assembly will be high compression. Do you want boost?
