Former Chevy guy with an 2004 Terminator Mustang and a love for Ford Racing

Hello Mustang Brethren,

I am new to the scene with an 04 Cobra Convertible that I bought a month ago. it has an upgraded 3.4L whipple supercharger, IRS support brace, Kenne Belle Fuel boost pump (set at 50 rich), Short throw shifter with Hurst T handle, Magnaflow exhaust with high flow cats, x pipe, and SLP loud mouth tips. dyno tuned at 600HP.

Some mods I am looking into: rear end gears (possibly 3.73), upgraded clutch, racing set of tires/ wheels for 1/4mile drag, lowering about 1" on the suspension, Shift light (as I seem to shift early) and any others that I can think of when the money arrives.

This is a daily (10miles a day) driver in the south and I would like to take it to the track once in a while to cure my road rage, but I am not looking to make it a full blown drag car. I want to keep mostly original but "intelligently" add things that keep it almost stock.

I plan to post more Q's based on the above upgrades but if you have an suggestions I am all ears. except when I first get home from work.... then I need some time to regain hearing as those SLP tips are SICKLY LOUD!! :gringreen
