Is it rare at all for a fox body to not have a center console arm rest?

i wouldn't say rare, but more uncommon than having one. i used to have a gray one and a red one, but i don't remember what i did with them.

I read something that they were only made in the beginning of 1990, but can't find any info right now. My 2.3 Mustang didn't have one and I've never seen another one without it.

i have a 90 gt that also didnt come with a center arm rest but that was something ford decided to do with cars build from mid 89 to mid 90 but by request of customers it was put back on

LRS sells an armrest delete mod since they all break or look like crud after 20 years of abuse.

I've seen a few who've taken out the arm rest and it looks good, it's just unusual to see.

They usually break when someone leans too hard on the armrest and CRACKKK.

My 90' Fox didn't come with an armrest when I first bought it, I bought mine from a junk yard, matches the black interior too.

I do prefer it, I keep everything in there from cigarettes to my MP3 player. But I swear on of my friends is going to break it, they lean way to ******** hard on it getting in and out of the car.
