hello all my fellow stang drivers:winks well i had a freeze plug go out and would like to replace it with out lifting the engine just seems like way to much to do so i just saw these copper screw in 1s and some rubber 1s has anyone used either and what results have u gotten? here is a pic of the copper one http://partimages.genpt.com/partimages/226838.jpg

Never used the copper ones. But i have used the rubber expanding freeze plugs with no problems what so ever. The copper ones look like they should hold up even better. :bigthumbsup

I'd put in one of the copper ones. Done correctly, it should last almost as long as the stock one.
