I was changing my oil filter yesterday and found braces under the front sway bar. Is it holding anything, or is there another way of replacing the sway bar without removing them?

All videos and installation guides have older mustangs that didn't come with these braces.

The sway bar is connected at four points; two at the front cross member and two through links to the lower control arms. All four must be disconnected to remove and replace the bar.

You have to remove those braces. It's not hard
