Hello guys,

yesterday i noticed grinding noise coming from the passenger front tire. Normaly i have around 2 inch between tire and fender on both sides. Yesterday i couldnt even get my hand between tire and fender.

I jacked it up and checked the springs, everything looks normal.

After taking the car of the jack the space between tire and fender was normal but i was sure that it would lower itself again over night.
When i checked this morning everything was normal.

So the question is how is this possible, how did the car lower itself
and after jacking it up everything is fine?

There has to be something wrong, i cant figure out what.

hello;

drive the car and it should go lower again. cars sit high after removing a floor jack.

since your tire rubs the fender they are either too wide or you have a serious suspension prob.
.

Well, it would be something in the upper control arm, check the bolts on inside of the shock tower make sure they aren't all oval-ed out, and tight.

my control arm bolts came loose and did same thing.

also start it and roll it back and fourth in gear move steering whatever till she pops back down, have someone watch or drive and see whats really moving.
next is
if that's not the issue, and the opposite side isnt lower, then start taking measurements off fixed body parts and find out whats out of alignment.
