I have a 87 GT that did not crank this morning. It was about 25 degrees outside and I did notice that the fuel pump did not come on. The car turned over fine with no battery or starter problems. Later in the morning I called my son and asked him to crank it up. It was warmer outside and it fired right up five or six times. I came home and it runs fine. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.... Thanks for reading.

Seen this many times. Get a new relay for the pump which is under the drivers seat. Moisture is freezing the contacts open. You can pick up the relay at a Parts Store or Radio Shack.

Jruppert had the same problem. It was corrosion on the fuel pump relay harness.
