Essentially, this is what my car would look like. Same color, same stripe kit. I have 20" gloss gunmetal Forgestar F14's on order. Would YOU add these stripes, or leave it as is?

if you had black wheels i would say yes get them no doubt about it. but since they are gunmetal idk.

My same exact thinking. The black might clash with the gunmetal. The picture is what gave me that idea.

im a big fan of the stripes, ive tried to do them with plastidip on my car, but epicly fail at making a strait line with the tape

To the OP, I think the black would be fine, there are other black accents on your car and it would be a good incentive to keep your tires nice and black all the time, LOL.

However, have you pondered making the stripes some shade of medium to slightly dark gray? Would play off the wheels nicely and you would really stand out from the pack.

Seriously though- When I bought the car I had the "plan". The plan was Guardsman blue Lemans stripes with some version of Torquethrust aluminum wheels. Then, the CDC chin spoiler came out. Then we saw a 2010 GT 500 with Red stripes. Then it was decided that black wheels would be the finishing touch for the red-white combo. See!? Organic!
To the OP : Someone suggested a gunmetal or charcoal stripe. This person is correct. There is no discussion. If you go LeMans, you go all the way. There. Input.

I do it man. I had a silver with the black stripes on my 06 stang and I loved it. It makes it look mean. It had chrome rims. My 08 I bought it with grey stripes and it also is silver. But gunmetal rims. I've got mixed reviews from everyone about which color looked better. I think I liked the black better, but grey is gonna set you apart from everyone. Your call, goodluck!
